Age: THE ADDAMS FAMILY features some adult themes. Due to the nature of the production and limitations on our ability to supervise child actors, all actors must be over 16 at the time of auditions. Those who are not yet 18 must have a parental consent form signed prior to auditions including a commitment to having a parent or other responsible adult on premises during all rehearsals and performances in order to monitor and protect the interests of underage performers. NO exceptions, please.
Ethnicity: With the exception of Gomez Addams (who should be of Latino descent), all roles are ethnically non-specific. We are seeking a diversity of ethnicities for this production and everyone is encouraged to audition.
Gender: Most roles in THE ADDAMS FAMILY are traditionally either male- or female-identifying. However, many roles can easily be played by any gender, including trans and non-binary identifying actors. Please be sure to indicate whether you are willing to take a role in which the traditional gender identity is not the same as yours.
