Based on the original cartoons by Charles Addams that appeared in the New Yorker magazine (and only loosely on the 1960s TV sitcom starring John Astin and Carolyn Jones and the 1990s films starring Raul Julia and Angelica Huston), the "creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky, altogether ooky" ADDAMS FAMILY comes to life in a wacky macabre musical by Andrew Lippa, Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice! This comical feast embraces the craziness in every family, featuring an original story that is every father’s nightmare! Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that isn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents, bringing about an outrageously whimsical night of music, chills, and thrills!

COVID-19 HEALTH ADVISORY
Landmark Musical Theatre, as required by the County of San Francisco and the State of California, has imposed special rules for attendance at all performances which include: proof of a completed vaccination cycle (or a negative Covid-19 test taken on premises for people who are not eligible for vaccination) and mandatory use of masks indoors except when eating, drinking or performing on stage. We also may require all audience members to complete a short questionnaire as to recent health status and contact with potential virus carriers, and contact information in case contact tracing is required. We will provide hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for use by audience members during performances and intermission.
