The ANNIE WARBUCKS Dance Audition Video

Here are links to the dance audition for ANNIE WARBUCKS. Please review and either record a version of this for your video submission (if you are auditioning by video) or be prepared to perform this at the in-person audition. The choreographer will take you through the steps before you have to perform it at the in-person audition but the more familiar you are with it, the better your audition will be.

There are two links. The first is the dance audition shot directly at the choreographer. I.e., it is in the orientation that should match how you should look from the front doing the dance. The other link's image ("mirrored") is flipped, taken as if it is shot in a mirror. I.e., if you put the video in front of you, you should do the steps as if you were looking in a mirror.

A Note Of Clarification: The dance audition is required for all people auditioning for the show except for someone only interested in the part of President Franklin Roosevelt (FDR). This includes all youth, Drake, Pugh, Ella, Simon, etc. as the number involved (All Dolled Up) is a all-ensemble number. But in case you are concerned about the complexity of the dance audition, we do NOT expect everyone to execute the dance audition steps perfectly and some cast members may be given different steps for the actual show based on their ability to move. The purpose of the audition is to see the full dance capability of each person who is auditioning. We expect there will be dancers who are capable of perfectly replicating the audition, and others who will be able to do only some of the steps. That is totally okay and the fact that you aren't able to reproduce the audition does NOT mean you won't be considered for a part. We are just asking everyone to do the best they can and let us figure out how each person might fit into the overall cast. Thank you!
