SCRIPT SCENES

Please review all selections for the parts for which you are called back. You should also review all ensemble (everything NOT for Bobby, Hope, Cladwell, Pennywise, Lockstock, Sally and Barrel) if you are called for ensemble OR if you are willing to accept an ensemble part.

We will have printed copies for the callbacks, but if you can print out the parts you need, that would be great. Thank you!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO MEMORIZE ANYTHING FOR CALLBACKS, BUT IT IS OKAY IF YOU DO. JUST REMEMBER THAT WE ARE MORE INTERESTED IN YOUR ACTING ABILITY THAN YOUR ABILITY MEMORIZE SCENES IN A SHORT TIME. BETTER TO DO A GREAT JOB WITH THE SCRIPT IN HAND THAN TO HAVE PROBLEMS TRYING TO DO A SCENE FROM MEMORY.

MUSIC

Each song is posted with its sheet music (as page-sized jpgs) and an mp3 selection taken from the original Broadway cast album. There are two songs, The Cop Song and Run Freedom Run which are in two pages so make sure you download and print both pages. All other songs are on one page.

It may seem like a lot of songs but they are all very short (most are under 30 seconds, only a few are as long as 45 seconds. Nothing is over a minute. PLEASE try to review via your computer or cell phone the mp3 for any songs for parts for which you are called back as we will not have a lot of time to teach the basic melodies. We will probably only be able to run through each song several times as a group and then we will expect you to try to sing the song as best as you can on your own (or with others if it is an ensemble piece).
