Scott Ayres (Sir)
Scott has been acting in the Bay Area since 2003. In 2002, after over a decade hiatus from theater, an audition notice piqued his interest. The audition notice was for a production of Tomfoolery, a revue of Tom Lehrer's music. Scott had been a fan of Mr. Lehrer’s music since his teens in the 70s, so he auditioned and was cast in the Openstage Repertory Theatre’s San Francisco production of Tomfoolery. Since then Scott has graced Bay Area stages in over 20 productions, in such roles as Moonface Martin (Anything Goes), Mike Dillard (Working), Hucklebee (The Fantasticks), and Herbie (Gypsy). He is thrilled to join the cast of Roar of the Greasepaint.
Juanita Harris (The Stranger)
Juanita Harris is a musician/vocalist/actor who has been actively entertaining audiences around the Bay Area and internationally. A native of Sunnyvale, she is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and excels in myriad genres such as Jazz, R&B, Musical Theater, Gospel, Rock and Roll and Opera. She travels internationally to Austria and Germany to perform for UNICEF in many of the concerts and fundraisers they host around Europe. Onstage in the Bay Area she has played in the musicals Nunsense, Nunsense II and Nunsense: With A Twist, Ragtime, The Crucible, Hairspray, All Shook Up, Chicago, Violet, Going To St. Ives. Last year she made her Directorial debut the Tabard Theater Company directing and starring in the musical Crowns.
Dian Sitip Meechai
Dian is a singer, dancer, contortionist, and choreographer. She has done commercial and performance work for Sky-King Entertainment, Silversea Cruises, 3Motion Creative, Earth Circus and Access Hollywood. Born in the "Boogie Down" Bronx, Dian aspired to perform from her earliest days. She minored in Vocal Performance at Northwestern University and competed on their DanceSport team. Her vocal repertoire includes jazz, classical and musical theater. She sang onboard the international-sailing Silver Spirit, recently choreographed the opening number for the San Francisco Nitey Awards and has contorted at various theaters and events across the Bay Area. Dian is absolutely thrilled to join the cast of Landmark's Roar of the Greasepaint.
Amanda Nguyen (Urchin)
Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from San Francisco State University. She was most recently seen on stage as Connie Wong in West Valley Light Opera's production of A Chorus Line. Other favorite roles include Mayzie LaBird in Seussical (Bay Area Children's Theatre), Mimi in Rent (Pinole Community Players) and Consuelo in West Side Story at both City Lights Theatre Company of San Jose and Stage 1 Theatre of Newark. She is happy to make her Landmark debut in Roar of the Greasepaint.
Julian O'Byrne (Cocky)
Julian O’Byrne is an actor and singer working in the Bay Area. After a few years removed from performing, Julian returned to the stage in 2015. Recent credits include performances as Koko (The Mikado), Dr. John Seward (Dracula) and Edward/Robert Ferrars (Sense and Sensibility). Julian has also recently had featured roles in My Fair Lady and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Julian is thrilled to be making his Landmark Musical Theatre debut!
Heather Steffen (Kid)
Heather studied Music and Vocal Performance at Sonoma State and is now finishing her Associate's degree in Theatre at Foothill College. A resident from Sunnyvale, she has performed in various theatres around the Bay Area. Some of her favorite roles have been Venus de Milo (Side Show), Ruth (Pirates of Penzance), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Jo (Little Women), Rusty (Footloose), Alexa Ver de Ver (As Bees in Honey Drown). When she's not performing, she loves powerlifting and riding horses. She couldn't be more excited and honored to join the cast of Roar of the Greasepaint.

Jonathan Rosen (Director)
Jon has been directing theatre in the Bay area for over 20 years. He is a co-founder of Landmark Musical Theatre and its first artistic director. Some of his recent credits include Landmark's inaugural production, Tomfoolery at the Eureka Theatre (2015) and last year's The Boy From Oz at the Great Star Theatre (2016). Other credits include The Fantasticks (16th Street Players), Anything Goes (Curtain Call Performing Arts), HAiR (Stagelight Productions), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (West Valley Light Opera), Nunsense A-Men and Little Mary Sunshine (Openstage Repertory Theatre). He has also been seen onstage as Lazar Wolfe in Fiddler On The Roof (Stage 1 Newark) and Hucklebee in The Fantasticks (Mountain Community Theatre).
Brian Allan Hobbs (Music Director)

Local: Evita (Broadway by the Bay), The Cable Car Nymphomaniac (FOGG.), Rocky Horror (San Jose Stage), Aida, West Side Story (Stage 1), Little Women, Pippin (Sunnyvale Players), 1776 (Tabard Theatre), Spamalot (Tri-Valley Rep), Long Story Short, Wheelhouse (TheatreWorks), Les Misérables, Catch Me If You Can (Woodminster). Solo artists: Kris Allen, Christine Andreas, Sarah Uriarte Berry, Sutton Foster, Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Lisa Vroman. Brian studied at UCLA and NYU/Tisch.
Deb Leamy (Choreographer)
Deb has performed on Broadway in Never Gonna Dance, Sweet Smell of Success and the Tony-winning musical Fosse, for which she was an original cast member. She has played numerous roles in regional theatre and national/international tours, among them Roxie and Mona in Chicago, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, Lois in Kiss Me Kate, and Maggie/Cassie in A Chorus Line. She has also served as choreographer/director for productions of Pippin, My Way, In The Heights and Grease as well as various cabarets, benefits and revues across the country. Most recently, she brought the inaugural AIDS benefit, Broadway Bares to San Francisco and this June will helm the 2nd annual production, ManuSTRIPt, at DNA lounge.
Richard Gutierrez (Costume Designer)
Richard spent ten years performing with the Muhlenburg Summer Music Theatre and performed Off-Broadway at the Performing Garage and Theater for the New City. As an Actor, Costume Designer, Graphic Designer, Production Manager and Film Maker, he currently lends his creative services to a few Bay Area theater companies including Custom Made Theatre Company, Bay Area Musicals, Theater Of Others and Landmark Musical Theatre where he most recently served as Production Manager for The Boy From Oz and Every Christmas Story Ever Told.
Steve Brownfield (Production Manager)
Steve attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received an Associate degree in Business Administration and was a Human Resource Manager for Rankin, Sproat, Mires, Beaty & Reynolds. Now living in the Bay Area, he has taken an interest in local theater and recently worked on Landmark's production of Every Christmas Story Ever Told and has recently worked behind the scenes at the Great Star Theater here in San Francisco. He is very glad to be doing another Landmark Musical Theatre production.
Jim McCunn (Stage Manager)
Jim has worked for AWAT Productions stage-managing Morris Bobrow’s musical reviews Are We Almost There?, Shopping, The Musical, Party of Two and FOODIES! He serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of Theatre Rhinoceros. Prior to coming to San Francisco in 1999, he worked at theaters in Minneapolis including The Guthrie Theater, Theater in the Round, Campus Live, Bloomington Civic Theater, A Stage, Out and About Theater and Robbinsdale Public Schools. He also worked in San Diego at The Old Globe Theatre and Tucson's Arizona Theatre Company. He has a B.A. degree in Theater Arts from St. Cloud State University.
