About Landmark Musical Theatre at 533 Sutter Street

Landmark Musical Theatre's new home as of September 1, 2021, is located in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square just a few blocks from the center of the theatre district, at 533 Sutter Street. Located 1/2 block west of the Powell Cable Car line, Landmark's new venue has been home to many of San Francisco's famed theatre companies, including Actors' Theatre of San Francisco, San Francisco Playhouse (now located at the Kensington Hotel on Post Street), Tides Theatre, and most recently, CustomMade Theatre Company (now located at the Phoenix Theatre at Mason and Geary). Landmark is proud to take up this heritage and make this jewel-like 99-seat venue its new home for at least the next five years.
